12.27.08 - You are now able to make the sounds of the alphabet from A to P. Mama is trying to teach you how to say "mama", so you still always say 'aa' after 'mm'. You also know numbers 1 to 5, and most of the normal colors. Mama says the therapist thinks you're really bright!
Tonight you drank milk from a cup without gagging. Mama told you that Barney and Baby Bop drinks their milk from a cup and you did too. Mama and Papa clapped and praised you and you were oh so proud.
12.26.08 - Tonight was the first time you pee'd into your potty. We just had our nightly bath and mama told you to sit and pee in the potty after she dried you off. You sat down like you normally did, but this time, you actually went! Mama was so happy and kept clapping her hands. She tried to take pictures of you on the potty, but you were always after her and the camera. Time to start potty training!
12.11.08 - You now know the sounds of most of the alphabets like "baba, dada, ooo, aaa, sss, zzz, tata, mmm". You also know colors and shapes quite well. You like listening to music as well as doing the actions to the song such as Rock a Bye Bear by the Wiggles. You would wave your arms, bow to your partner and turn around. You are a hoot to watch. You are crazy about the Wiggles and enjoy listening to their music and watching their DVDs.
Yesterday was the first time you told me that you pooped by pointing. I was so ecstatic.
You like lining your cars/trucks up in a straight line.
When asked to smile you would put your 2 hands on your chin just like you are trying to be cute. Not that you aren't already.
You have a very good memory and seem to memorize your books, songs and DVDs real fast.
11.10.08 - Today was your second birthday. Your friends Ethan, Joshua and Stephen came to help celebrate. Mama was her usual iron chef and cooked a lot of dishes - sushi, steak, wintermelon soup and more. Everyone had a good time. Good job Mommy!
11.01.08 - We took you to Towne East Mall last night for Halloween. Papa came home from work early. You were dressed up as Nemo and carried a pumpkin basket. When people offered you candy, you insisted to grab a handful directly from their baskets instead of taking from their hand. People were smiling when they saw you in your costume, one even said that that was her favorite of the night! We walked around the mall looking at the other kids and taking pictures. You had fun that night and kept playing with the candies and the baskets for several weeks afterwards.
08.11.08 - Last night while we were reading "Barney Plays From Nose To Toes" you were trying to imitate dad marching up and down as well as imitating mom in waving your hands. It was so funny, the 3 of us had a lot of fun waving our hands and marching.
08.11.08 - Being able to hold and cuddle you is such a blessing. Most nights you would go to sleep on your own but there are nights when you want to be rocked. It is so precious to see your contented face laying on our arms.
