Welcome note from the teacher...  I can see that we will have a good year.

Richard's official first day of Kindergarten K-1.  Mama will miss you, but it is time for you to make some new friends.  I was afraid that you would cry and refuse to stay in class but you adjusted pretty well.  You look forward to going to school each day.  You are a model student (sitting straight, participating in class, playing nicely and being the most behaved student) and I am very proud of you!

October 31, 2014 - Funny Hat Day - You did not seem to think that your funny hat was funny.  You said that the fresh vegetables were not cool.  You were picked to win the best hat prize in class but you refused to win.

December 1, 2014 - Richard with Cedric, his best friend in school who happens to also be our neighbor.  Cedric's speaks Chinese while Richard speaks in English.  Despite that, the 2 communicates quite well using their body language.
