First experiences in Shanghai...

At Carrefour (Supermarket) - Look at our double stroller.  The kids are not use to walking thus we had to use the umbrella stroller as a double stroller.  This is also our first time using this type of escalator (shopping carts can go on it too!)  We do not have these things in Wichita!  Everything is flat.  :)

Our first time riding the taxi.  There are no seat belts to be found and the drivers drive super fast!  We love the convenience though as they are everywhere.  From our house, we just need to call the guards on the intercom and in about a minute or so, a taxi will be waiting for us at the front door.  RJ loves to ride the green taxi's.  Unfortunately for Richard, there are no yellow taxi's in Shanghai.

 Checking out our neighborhood playground.  The Ayi's hangout here in the morning with the little kids wearing pants with slits in the middle.  They do not use diapers and instead use the convenience of having a slit in their pants to do their business.  It is a pretty shocking and common sight.
